GEMINI DESIGN:

The twin brother team of Michael and Patrick Hannigan first collaborated on an architectural project in 2001. They continued working together and went on to establish Gemini Design Associates after a number of successful projects, focusing on residential design as the firm’s specialty. Being a small practice, Gemini Design Associates takes a unique sense of pride with every design, from the smallest renovation, to the largest new home plan.

With client gratification as its objective, Gemini Design realizes the importance of having a complete understanding of every project’s needs and goals. Mike and Pat personally approach every new project as an opportunity to help others realize their optimum housing solution. This is ultimately achieved by assisting the homeowners visualize their ideas through drawings, bringing their dreams to reality. Having clients take great value in project-specific, innovative design concepts is a trademark of Gemini Design Associates.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) in 1994, Mike began his architectural career in the commercial design realm. In 1999, after becoming a licensed architect (PA), Mike gravitated towards residential design, opening a practice alongside his brother, Pat. Mike and his wife and two children have made Media, PA their home. He still finds time for his favorite past times: playing trumpet, photography, ceramics, and trips to the Jersey Shore.

Patrick graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) in 1994.

Pat worked for various firms on a wide range of project types before establishing Gemini Design Associates with Mike.  He is a long time resident of Delaware County and enjoys traveling, genealogy, and creating digital artwork along with being an avid Philadelphia and Virginia Tech sports fan – Go Hokies!
