The homeowners wanted to repair the failing retaining walls on their 20-year old patio and provide cover for the space. The new walls retain the familiar look and feel of the original patio, which our clients still love, while adding a few upgrades. Concrete and stone piers were integrated into the wall for a new custom pergola with a retractable awning, which aptly provides shade and rain cover without restricting the vistas of the rear yard and nature beyond. The result is a spacious 3-season outdoor room with ease of access to a newly upgraded kitchen.
